November is finally here, and in London that can only mean one thing… Christmas is well and truly on its way!

The light displays are switching on, the shop decorations are going up and festive pop-ups are opening all over the place, including one of my favourite annual winter events Winterland Fulham.

This year, Winterland Fulham has had a makeover, taking inspiration from the slopes of the Alps in the 80s and 90s to become Fulham’s very own Alpine club.

Seating and Areas

There are fur-lined sofas, heated winter lodges, fairy-light filled gondolas, private igloos and warming firepits where you can hang out with friends to enjoy some festive food and drink. For larger groups, there is also the cosy hunting lodge and the retro sequin-filled boogie nights lodge which can be privately booked for up to 35 guests.

Food and Drink

To eat, you can choose from winter favourites such as fondues and schnitzels from Jimmy’s Lodge, as well as a range of tasty pizzas with toppings such as turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce and pigs in blankets to keep things in the spirit of Christmas.

Last year Winterland Fulham operated a BYOB policy, however, this year the pop-up has a couple of fully licenced bars serving hot drinks such as mulled wine and hot apple Moose (a glass comes free with entry) and a range of exciting winter cocktails. Try the Jaffa Cake Martini for a sweet and delicious treat.

Activities

Winterand Fulham is the ultimate festive spot for an evening out with friends, with some of London’s hottest DJs and live bands playing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. The pop-up also has private karaoke booths, curling lanes, beer pong, prosecco pong, putting pong, table tennis and more to keep you entertained throughout the evening.

Tickets

Standard tickets cost £5, while the private lodges and group areas can be booked in advance for a fee. Activities such as curling, karaoke and the ping pong tables can also be booked in advance.

See the bottom of this post for more information on location, tickets and opening times.
