People are always looking to save money when they travel. This list will provide you with all of the best countries that are cheap to visit! From food to hotels, here are 10 countries that make travelling easy on your wallet!

1. Cambodia

Although the cost of living in Cambodia is increasing, it’s still one of the cheapest places to travel. Food, hotels, and transport are all ridiculously cheap. With only a few dollars a day you can stay afloat in this nation, making it easy to visit if your budget is low! There are plenty of awesome things to do in Cambodia, such as visiting the ancient temples of Angkor Wat or exploring Prasat Prei Kuk.

2. Philippines

The Philippines may be full of Western amenities and familiar brands, but once you go outside those areas, prices drop rapidly and suddenly you feel like you’re on a whole different continent! For example, beer can cost as little as $0.20 in many regions, and the food is incredibly cheap once you get off the beaten track!

3. Kenya

With beautiful nature, vast landscapes, interesting wildlife, vibrant cities, and delicious food; Kenya is an incredible place to visit with so much to offer at very reasonable prices! Although living in Kenya can be expensive if you live near a city centre or tourist area, the rest of this African country offers great budget travel potential. If you want to take it easy on your wallet when visiting Kenya rent out a house instead of staying at a hotel for some authentic home-cooked experience.

A night out in Nairobi will cost an average of $10 while a bus ticket from Nairobi to Mombasa is less than $20. As if this is not enough saving, be sure to also follow Lottoland’s tips for travelling on a budget to save even more when on vacation!
