Loving brunch is pretty much compulsory if you live in Fulham, an area with one of the highest concentrations of cute little independent cafes, cool coffee shops and Instagramable health-conscious restaurants in the entire capital.

Speaking from experience here, after living in Fulham for any period of time it’s pretty much impossible not to develop a dangerous obsession with turmeric lattes and avocado toast.

So after 2 years of calling this trendy South West London neighbourhood home and spending more weekends out brunching with friends than I could possibly count, I finally decided to put my addiction to good use and put together this guide to the best breakfast and brunch spots in Fulham.

Megan’s

Best brunch in Fulham for: a special occasion with a group of friends.

Where? 571 King’s Road, Fulham, SW6 2EB  |  57-69 Parsons Green Lane, Fulham, SW6 4JA.

Must try: The baked eggs shakshouka.

Bottomless brunch? On weekends Megan’s offers 90 minutes of bottomless Prosecco for £20.

What originally started as a small antiques shop come cafe back in 2002, Megan’s quickly expanded into an independently-owned mini-empire now with several restaurants in London (including two in Fulham) serving delicious Mediterranean-influenced food.

Created by the brand’s Turkish head chef Sercan, Megan’s brunch menu ranges from your traditional smashed avo toast and eggs benedict to Mediterranean dishes including shakshouka baked eggs, Turkish cheese fondue, and the ultimate Turkish brunch feast.

Don’t fill up on the savory though, Megan’s half-baked cookie dough with Nutella, pistachios, and ice cream to share is an absolute must to round off your meal.

Plus, not only is the food fantastic, but Megan’s restaurants have to also be some of the prettiest brunch spots in Fulham, with beautiful floral wall arrangements in Parsons Green and twinkling fairy lights and checkered tablecloths galore on Kings Road. A real Instagrammers dream come true.

Hally’s

Best brunch in Fulham for: a post-yoga brunch in your best activewear.

Where? 60 New King’s Rd, Fulham, SW6 4LS.

Must try: The halloumi, egg and avocado breakfast bagel.

Bottomless brunch? Hally’s offers a weekend bottomless brunch which includes any dish, a coffee or tea, cookie or pastry and unlimited prosecco and mimosas for 1.5 hours for £35 per person.

Modern, light and effortlessly chic, Hally’s is everything you would imagine a cool Californian-inspired hangout to be. From the artisan coffee and health-conscious food to fabulous boutique wines collected from around the world, Hally’s is without a doubt one of Fulham’s coolest brunch spots, and don’t Fulham’s trendiest residents already know it.

The restaurant serves a weekday breakfast menu of pastries, porridges, bagels and eggs, as well as an all-day weekend brunch with a few additional options including LA-style goodness bowls, eggs benedict, Californian scrambled eggs and spiced tomato and red pepper shakshuka.

During the warmer months, the cafe also has a large open front with al fresco dining, which is perfect for enjoying your brekkie in the sun while watching the world go by outside.

Manuka Kitchen

Best brunch in Fulham for: brunch at a Michelin-listed restaurant.

Where? 510 Fulham Rd, Fulham, SW6 5NJ

Must try: Blueberry pancakes or banana bread with peanut butter and yoghurt.

Bottomless brunch? No, but they do serve Prosecco and cocktails by the glass.

Serving modern British cuisine with a Kiwi spin (the chef is from New Zealand), Manuka Kitchen is an absolute Fulham hotspot, with the restaurant being listed in the Michelin guide for the past 5 years.

As well as their popular all-day menu and the not-so-secret gin bar downstairs, Manuka Kitchen serves a great brunch menu with dishes including blueberry pancakes, banana bread, French toast, eggs benedict, crushed avo and the staple full English (or full Fulham as it’s known here).

The brunch menu also features some of the restaurant’s signature dishes including the Wagyu beef bolognese, Bavette steak and roast chicken salad.

All of the food at Manuka Kitchen is made using the highest quality, seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients.

Chairs and Coffee

Best brunch in Fulham for: a chilled Sunday morning brekkie.

Where? 512 Fulham Rd, Fulham, SW6 5NJ.

Must try: The avocado toast with feta cheese or the homemade banana bread (Canadian style with maple syrup, bacon and banana).

Bottomless brunch? No, but they do serve bottles of Prosecco, as well as mimosas and Aperol Spritz.

Chairs and Coffee is a small, casual espresso bar and brunch spot close to Fulham Broadway, with one of the most friendly and relaxed atmospheres of anywhere in the capital.

While the cafe’s rustic decor, featuring chairs hanging from walls (hence the name), is nothing to write home about, their food certainly is. Almost everything in Chairs and Coffee is homemade, from the tasty banana bread to the stone age loaf which comes as a base for all of their toast and egg dishes.

Fun fact: I once randomly met the Italian owner of Chairs of Coffee’s father-in-law and sister-in-law in the tiny town of Alberobello in southern Italy after they invited us into their home for lunch. Small world right!?

Boys’n’Berry

Best brunch in Fulham for: health food fanatics.

Where? 839 Fulham Rd, Fulham, SW6 5HQ.

Must try: the coffee, the truffle scrambled eggs or the BNB French toast.

Another cool little Fulham cafe and coffee shop that ‘strives to provide food that nourishes your stomach and your soul‘ and believes that healthy food fosters a healthy community.

Their healthy breakfast menu features something for everyone, whether you’re veggie, vegan, gluten-free or dairy-free, with the likes of homemade granola, quinoa porridge, fruit pancakes, baked eggs and a variety of sourdough toasts with multiple nutritious toppings.

Oh, and if you’re not in the mood for healthy, try the indulgent chocolatey BNB french toast instead.

Not only is Boys’n’Berry a great weekend brunch place but if you visit during the week you’ll also find an abundance of local students, freelancers and remote workers spending their day sipping coffee and tapping away at their laptops at this cosy little spot.

Little Blue Door

Best brunch in Fulham for: a fun, indulgent and boozy experience.

Where? 871-873 Fulham Rd, Fulham, SW6 5HP.

Must try: the house pancakes with fried chicken, bacon and maple butter honey.

Bottomless brunch? Why else would you even come here!? Add bottomless prosecco or house punch to your brunch for £19.50 per person.

The little brother of Notting Hill’s famous Little Yellow Door, Fulham’s Little Blue Door is a quirky bar and restaurant known for its alcohol-fulled ‘dinner parties’ and ‘house parties’ in a cosy apartment-like setting.

With communal dining tables and casual sofas to laze around on, the ‘flatmates’ are all about making their guests feel as at home as possible, especially when it comes to boozy brunch.

The aim of the game at Little Blue Door on Saturdays is to soak up the hangover from the night before with their indulgent pancake stacks then ‘retox’ with bottomless prosecco and house punch.

And if that’s still not enough, stick around afterward for some special brunch cocktails while taking on your friends at their selection of retro games – the bar is open until 10pm.

Little Blue Door is certainly home to the most fun bottomless brunch in Fulham.

The Fulham House

The best brunch in Fulham for: no-nonsense British breakfast food.

Where? 762 Fulham Rd, Fulham, SW6 5SH.

Must try: You really can’t go wrong with the full English here.

Bottomless brunch? The Fulham House offers unlimited cocktails for only £19.99 every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Fulham House Café & Restaurant is a true hidden secret in Fulham, popular with the locals but not particularly well known by those from outside of the area.

The cosy local spot serves a simple menu of breakfast classics including the mighty full English, eggs on toast, ham and cheese omelet and blueberry pancakes, making it one of the best no-frills no-fuss places in Fulham for breakfast and brunch.
