Dinner Time Story: Le Petit Chef | London’s Most Unique Immersive Dining Experience

Dinner Time Story

London really is the city of constant surprises. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, another completely unique experience presents itself to you!

As a person who prides myself on always knowing what’s new in the city, I was completely shocked to only recently learn that Dinner Time Story had already been entertaining guests in London since Oct 2017.

What is Dinner Time Story?

Dinner Times Story is an immersive and multisensory-guided culinary experience, which has come to the capital after a successful run in Dubai and several other cities globally. It uses 3D technology and creative storytelling to immerse guests in an evening of suburb food and unique entertainment.

Located upstairs at TT Liquor in Shoreditch, the evening features a 6-course feast with perfectly paired drinks, guided by a 4-inch French Chef projected onto your plate using cutting-edge 3D visual technology.

Following in Marco Polos footsteps, ‘Le Petit Chef’ leads you on a 2-hour journey down the famous Silk Road, starting in France and stopping in Arabia, India, the Himalayas and China to sample delicious flavours from each area and collect ingredients for his own restaurant.

Guests experience not only the flavours of each destination but also the sights, sounds and atmosphere as the story unfolds gradually on your placemat (shaped like a storybook). Certainly one of the coolest and most unique immersive dining experiences in London.

How much is Dinner Time Story?

At £95 per person, Dinner Time Story does fall on the expensive side of things. However, I can guarantee that you have never experienced anything quite like this before. On top of the amazing storytelling, the food is unbelievably delicious with a whole host of new and exciting flavours to try.

The drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available) are also perfectly paired with each dish, and if you opt for the alcoholic version you’re sure to leave a little tipsy.
