England, I’m back!

After 2 months out exploring Europe I’ve finally touched down back in the UK for a while (yes, there may be more travel to come but I’ll leave that for another post!). And being back in the UK means being back in my favourite city in the World, LONDON!

To make things even better, I’ve been welcomed home with a rather cool present – The new TimeOut More Card!

For those who haven’t heard of the TimeOut more card yet (are you even a real Londoner!?), here’s the lowdown…

The TimeOut More Card is TimeOut’s new perks card which gets you free food, drinks, queue jump, special offers and secret dishes at many of London’s coolest restaurants and bars. And better yet, it only costs £2.50 per month (£29.99 annual fee).

Here are a few of the perks I’m looking forward to taking advantage of now that I’m back…

Free Nutella pizza ring at Pizza Pilgrims

The first returning entry to my bucket list, I first discovered this hip little pizza chain earlier this year when I popped by their Dalston branch. Pizza Pilgrims serve up delicious Neapolitan pizzas for between just £3.95 and £6.50. Already a bargain! And now with the TimeOut More Card, you can get a free Nutella pizza ring thrown in for dessert.

A tasty 2-course feast for as little as £3.95. Who says London is expensive!?

Complimentary hot drink at Palm Vaults

This pretty little cafe in Hackney has been on my bucket list for a while now. Often labelled ‘London’s most Instagrammable café’, Palm Vaults is the ultimate millennial dream. Exposed brick walls ✓, pink decor ✓, avocado on toast ✓, matcha frappés ✓, rose lattes ✓, dairy-free milk ✓. What more could you want?

I’ll certainly be turning up here soon, camera in hand, and making the most of the free hot drink with my TimeOut More Card.

A free portion of Chicken Wings or Goma Kyuri Cucumber at Sakagura

Another returning feature, Sakagura is Mayfair’s swanky Japanese steak kitchen and sake bar that I fell in love with at first visit. I’ve been dying to return ever since I went in March, and now that I can score a free portion of chicken wings, I know I’ll be back very soon.

Complimentary glass of fizz at The Modern Pantry

The Moden Pantry is Anna Hansen’s New Zealand inspired restaurant and cafe located on St. John’s Square in ClerkenwellAs well as an all-day food menu of Kiwi fusion dishes, The Modern Pantry serves breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea and cream tea, all of which can be enjoyed in their spacious outdoor terrace on a sunny day.

The Modern Pantry was located just around the corner from my old office, and I’d walk past regularly longing to step inside but unfortunately not having a long enough lunch break. So now I plan to head back on a nice summers day for my free glass of fizz and some leisurely al fresco dining.

Free Smokey Maple Old Fashioned at Where The Pancakes Are

I’m quite ashamed to say that until this week I had never heard of ‘Where The Pancakes Are’ before, however, thanks to the TimeOut More Card it’s been added to my London summer bucket list (discovering new places is another great advantage of the card).

Located in Flat Iron Square, Where The Pancakes Are is a buzzing pancake house serving up picture-perfect buttermilk pancakes, as well as the more unique oven-baked Dutch Babies with savoury fillings. And what is the best cocktail to accompany pancakes? A free Maple Old Fashioned courtesy of the TimeOut More Card of course!

The Rest…

I could honestly sit here all day writing about all of the places in London I plan to visit using my new TimeOut More Card but I don’t want to bore you too much. So here are a few of the others on my bucket list, or for the full list of offers just click here.

Bonus – Using the TimeOut More Card outside of London

P.S. Did I mention that TimeOut More is not just exclusive to London but can also be used in many restaurants and bars all over the UK. On my next trip to Manchester I’ll certainly be taking advantage of the free brunch at Zouk Tea Bar & Grill, and I’ll be making the most of my free drink at Côte Brasserie wherever in the country I end up exploring next.
