Is it too early to start celebrating Christmas? ABSOLUTELY NOT – it’s never too early for me! And it seems like London doesn’t think so either. Fulham’s new(ish) riverside hotspot, which this summer hosted the colourful Neverland Beach, has had an exciting wintery make-over and relaunched this week as Winterland London! The venue is now an enchanted woodland escape, with twinkly lights, cosy lodges, heated igloos and pine trees galore, as well as plenty of festive treats and activities to get you into the Christmas spirit.
After entering through a tunnel of glistening trees, you first discover an enclosed heated pergola filled with group feasting tables and plenty of festive decoration. There are 2 food stalls, one serving the classic wintery dish Raclette, as well as cheesy burgers, hot dogs and truffle chips, whilst the second serves a selection of pizzas. Or, if you fancy something a little bit more special, especially if you’re wanting to hire out a private group area for the night, you can also opt for Jimmy’s 3-course fondue for £50 per person (including entry).
On Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays the venue is BYOB, meaning you can bring in your own wine, beer and even spirits (for the unleaded bar to turn into exciting cocktails for you). Whilst on Saturday there are 2 bars selling drinks, including plenty of wintery tipples such as mulled-wine and hot toddies.
Leading on from the Pergola is a heated tent with several large fur-lined sofas (which can be privately booked for groups) and four neon-lit curling lanes. Compete against your friends at this fun and festive sport – once you’ve worked out how the scoring works of course!
Finally, wander outside to where the summer beach has been transformed into an enchanted forest of Christmas trees. The area is surrounded by a row of cosy winter lodges, three festive riverside igloos (all of which can be privately hired for groups of 8-10) and two larger tents hosting neon mini golf and the drinking game of the season – prosecco pong! All of the activities are available to book in advance for a small additional charge.
Winterland London opens on Friday 10th November. Regular entry costs just £5 pp.

Sounds amazing and my kind of place. Great pics 🙂
